    Ethoxylated Alcohols

Ethoxylated alcohols produced in Cepsa's chemical plants

With the ethoxylation of fatty alcohols, a series of compounds is produced, called ethoxylated alcohols, which have different ethylene oxide units (EO) in an aliphatic chain. These products are characterised by the average of ethylene oxide moles, in such a way that the greater the amount of EO, the better the solubility of ethoxylated alcohol. The CepSinol®-e series is used directly as non ionic surfactants in formulations of clothing detergents, cleaning and hygiene products, industrial cleaners, and also for the production of other surfactants, in this case ionic, ethoxysulfate alcohols.
