912654946“Enhanced Oil Recovery” (EOR) encompasses a series of techniques for a better extraction of crude oil compared to conventional techniques, in which only a third of crude reserves is extracted, with the two remaining thirds remaining unextracted. In the case of chemical EOR, surfactants (S), alkalis (A) and polymers (P) are used to improve sweep efficiency and displacement in the oil, rock and water system.
The RECO series are surfactants and their precursors designed, produced and sold by Cepsa are used in formulations for ASP and SP methods together with other co-surfactants or co-solvents.
